Project Manager Aftermarket (PMA)

Job Summary:

Lead the aftermarket preparation and secure aftermarket business development in new product development and product improvements, managing the aftermarket sub-project in a number of larger machine or soft offer projects

• Project Manager Aftermarket (Product Improvement)
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:
• In NPD projects (hard or soft), within the approved project scope/targets: secure the aftermarket preparation for that specific project and drive the aftermarket business agenda in the project
• Secure aftermarket preparation in product Improvement activities (product maintenance, cost reduction, class-0 projects...)
• Coordinate and provide technical support to SDLG aftermarket team
• Perform additional tasks as required by line manager

Required knowledge & experience:

1. Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
• Degree in engineering, business administration or project management
• 2+ years’ experience within aftermarket or product support
• 3+ years’ experience in cross-functional project management
• Project Leadership Pipeline level 4 or higher
• ISO awareness
2. Additional Important Requirements:
• Fluent in English
• Collaborative attitude
• Ability to lead in a multi-cultural global environment
• Working knowledge of the Global Development Model
• Working knowledge of the Product Maintenance Process (DMAIC)
• Working knowledge of process/governance and project setup for New Product Development (hard/soft) and Product Improvement (product maintenance, cost-reductions, feature improvement...)
• Knowledge of the role and requirements from the global aftermarket functions
